Requirements
Field: Aerospace Engineering or related fields, particularly Aircraft Design and Manufacturing.
Independent research potential, critical thinking, ability to cope with innovation and interdisciplinarity.
Postdoctoral experience of up to 6 years.
PhD or equivalent.
Responsibilities
Help consolidate a competitive research program in one or more areas of Aerospace Engineering.
Help build competitive proposals for research funding.
Publish impactful scientific contributions.
Advise PhD theses.
All expected management, representation, and dissemination activities of faculty members.
Additional Information
Gross salary 38–41 k€/year.
Options for additional salary supplements offered by UC3M based on productivity and excellence.
Standard benefits, including health care under the Spanish National System.
Contract start: February 2026, preferably.
Contract duration: 2 years. Successful candidates are expected to transition into a tenure‐track position after that period.
