At Genestack we are tackling the underlying computational and scientific challenges of bioinformatics in order to provide researchers with software tools that will streamline the discovery process and drive forward precision medicine, drug development, and bioinformatics research.We are seeking a senior or lead-level AI Developer with a strong focus on LLMs and agentic workflows to join our team. Design and implement LLM-based features using modern AI tools, including RAG and agentic workflows.Work across the AI lifecycle — from rapid prototyping to production — validating ideas and ensuring real-world performance.Research and evaluate new AI tools (proprietary and OSS), recommending those with clear impact.Collaborate with product, data, and bioinformatics teams to build AI solutions that are useful and scientifically aligned.Optimize model performance in production :
latency, output quality, token usage, robustness.Contribute to prompt design and evaluation strategies, helping to mitigate risks like hallucinations and overconfidence in real user environments.We would like you to have :
6+ years of software development with strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures).Excellent Python skills and working knowledge of Java for integration tasks.Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (e.G., OpenAI, Anthropic) and orchestration frameworks (e.G., LangChain, LlamaIndex), including in production.Experience with retrieval pipelines and vector DBs for semantic search in LLM workflows.Strong grasp of agentic workflows and prompt engineering, including iterative refinement techniques.Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.Genuine interest in life sciences and applying AI in bioinformatics.Fluent English, written and spoken.It would be nice for you to have :
Ability to evaluate and integrate open-source models / tools.Experience with model serving / tuning (e.G., vLLM, TGI, Triton).Familiarity with LLMOps and observability practices.Exposure to bioinformatics or real biological datasets.Frontend experience (e.G., React) is a plus.We offer you :
