Technical Support Professional - Fire Security
Position summary:
Technical support for field issue and commissioning, Hot Line, Customer Training, New Product Testing and Verification.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Customer support on tech issue in the field and at the laboratory.
2. OnLine telephone technical support for commissioning fire panels.
3. Customer training 1:1 or online.
4. NPI validation and testing on new products.
5. Check software and firmware updates released for new products.
6. Fill in reports for validation products.
7. Translation in local language of the manuals for new products.
8. Improve and maintain the KPIs in a Tech Team.
9. Actively participate in weekly Tier 1 Technical Area meetings, suggesting improvements.
10. Participate in achieving goals (safety, internal/external).
11. Understand and comply with all standard HSE processes, tests, and inspects machinery and equipment.
Must Haves:
1. Degree in automation or electronics.
2. Fluent in English and Spanish.
3. Aptitude for teamwork.
4. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
5. Experience with fire panels and/or fire security equipment.
