About the role
As HSES Manager at our Montmeló site, you’ll be responsible for ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security regulations, while implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. This is a critical leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives on regulatory excellence, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll lead internal and external audits, manage regulatory reporting, and act as the site’s authority on all HSES matters. With the authority to stop operations when safety is at risk, your work will directly impact the wellbeing of our people, the integrity of our operations, and our environmental footprint.
About you
You bring deep expertise in HSES regulations and a strong technical background in chemical or industrial processes. You’re a proactive leader with a passion for safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. Your ability to influence, communicate, and act decisively sets you apart.
You will also bring:
5. Master’s degree in Science, Chemical or Industrial Engineering (Executive MBA is a plus)
6. Postgraduate qualifications in Safety (3 specialties), Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Environmental Management
7. Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar HSES leadership role
8. Expert knowledge of HSES regulations and ISO 14001
9. Strong understanding of chemical processes and risk management
10. Proven ability to lead audits, manage compliance projects, and drive HSES performance
11. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
12. Fluent in Spanish and Englis
