About the RoleDow Jones Risk & Compliance is a global provider of third-party risk management and regulatory compliance solutions. We deliver data, research tools and services to help our clients meet anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, anti-corruption and economic sanctions regulations and mitigate third-party risk.You will join a team of multilingual experts who research, record and update details on individuals and entities from specific countries for the Dow Jones Risk & Compliance database. You will report to a manager within the Risk & Compliance research team. You will be based in Barcelona.You Will:
Create and update Dow Jones Risk & Compliance profiles for a variety of countries and Risk & Compliance contents by continually monitoring and analysing relevant publicly available websites and media sourcesResearch and extract relevant data adhering to Risk & Compliance coverage guidelines on content selection, data coverage and accuracy standards ensuring that people and entity profiles are complete, accurate and up-to-dateContribute to workflow improvements and tool efficiencies using an automation mindsetMaintain and monitor existing automated workflowsMonitor and analyse changes in anti-money laundering regulationsRespond in writing to clients' questions about Risk & Compliance contentWrite due diligence reports on companies and/or individuals as required and contribute to other projects and initiativesSupport the Dow Jones B2B business with translation services as and when requiredYou Have:
Fluency in English, Arabic and French.Knowledge of tools such as Python, HTML, advanced knowledge of Excel, Macros/VBA programming and/or SQLExcellent research, analytical and writing skillsProofreading skills and experience in handling large volumes of informationSound decision-making and problem-solving skillsA reliable and responsible attitude and an ability to work autonomouslyAn openness to different views and appreciation of team diversityAn ability to work well with othersThe ability to manage priorities to meet deadlinesThe ability to communicate clearly and effectivelyPreferred:
Fluency in additional languages (e.G.
