The ideal candidate will be constantly assessing the systems in place to ensure that they are both safe and operating efficiently. This candidate will be comfortable managing a team and conducting analysis in order to highlight areas for improvement.
How You Will Do It:
• Cooperate with trade associations, factory inspectorate and municipal standards office
• Plan, supervise and optimize servicing (internal/external)
• Plan, supervise and optimize maintenance (internal/external)
• Schedule maintenance staff (holidays, sickness, etc.)
• Create preventive programs and makes certain, that safety regulations are observed
• Check thoroughly all machines, devices, systems, installations and structural changes in order to ensure that all statuary safety rules are observed
• Create servicing manuals for all machines and circuit diagrams for all electric systems
• Is responsible for permanently updating the ground plan including all buildings and estates on which the position of all pipes, cables and sewers can be seen in order to facilitate arranging repairs
• Provide a general map with the exact positions of gas and water pipes, chemical pipes and electrical pipes and sewers
• Preventive service
• Repair devices and machines
• Plan and work out methods for optimizing work places and processes
• Administer and procure spare parts
• Build technology
• Create maintenance lists of machines, plants and devices
• Install and implement, devices and plants
• Manage the security system
• Develop new production and production-supporting systems
• Contact other companies, public organizations (e.g. fire brigade)
• Manage and supervise all Technical Services Departments
• Instruct colleagues in the department in operating and servicing all devices/systems and machines
What We Look For
• Degree in Engineering
• Min. 5 years of work experience
• Special knowledge: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, PLC controlling, EDP skills
• English communication skills (B2-C1)
• Spanish bilingual
• Your workplace will be either in Spain (Medina del Campo, Valladolid.)
