We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our Honeywell Process Solutions/LSS team in the North of Spain (San Ciprian – Lugo). A Field Service Engineer is responsible for leading corrective and preventive maintenance activities over our installed base and 3rd party, as well as supporting Project Managers to ensure successful delivery of Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute corrective & preventive tasks with customer interactions in a professional manner that is consistent with Honeywell values
2. Implement new improvement projects
3. Deliver tasks reports and projects documentation in time
4. Keep up to date with technical Honeywell articles and notifications
5. Keep the Honeywell safety culture through demonstrated understanding, commitment and action supporting the organization’s safety and environmental requirements/regulations, complying with all legislation
Key Skills & Qualifications:
6. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Advanced Vocational Training in Electrical/Electronic Systems Automation or equivalent work experience
7. 3+ year experience with process controls in the industry environment
8. High experience in multi-vendor PLC implementation and troubleshooting
9. High experience in 3rd party components integration using best in class industry standards
10. Experience with HMI design and development
11. Comprehensive Training in Electrical Installations and Safety (Spanish regulation)
12. Knowledge of Honeywell software and products like Experion, TPS, C300, FSC & SM is a plus
13. Knowledge in networking, wireless and virtualization
