ROLE SUMMARY
Kensington School, Madrid, a prestigious British international school with over 50 years of excellence is seeking a dynamic and forward-looking Teacher of Mathematics. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Mathematics across KS3-5, including IGCSE and IB.
* Plan, prepare, and develop high-quality resources and schemes of work.
* Monitor and support student progress, assessing and providing feedback to drive attainment.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategies and curriculum planning.
* Serve as a form tutor, supporting students’ pastoral needs and personal development.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure high-quality outcomes.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
* QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
* Successful teaching experience at secondary level, ideally including IGCSE and IB.
* Strong understanding of the National Curriculum, IGCSE, and IB requirements.
* Excellent classroom management and ability to motivate students.
* Ability to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment.
* Strong teamwork, communication skills, and commitment to pastoral care.
* ICT proficiency and willingness to embrace new technologies in learning.
