The
EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect (EMEA SAP FI-CO BPA)
supports the planning and execution of the IT Strategy for the EMEA Region. The role involves driving the adoption of a global SAP ECC system model, rolling out the solution in European companies. Reports to the EMEA IT ERP Program Lead and executes assigned activities, including analyzing, developing, and deploying the GPI SAP solution in collaboration with EU Business Process Enablers and Local Referents. Contributes to platform evolution aligned with IT strategy.This role can be based in Spain or Poland.You will add value through:
Rolling out the GPI US SAP system in Controlling and Finance in EMEA.Building process knowledge in areas like Product Costing, Sales & Profitability Controlling, Finance, Operational and Group Reporting, and SAP S4 Central Finance integration.Supporting SAP modules integration and communication between business and IT departments.Working with internal US/EMEA IT teams and external partners.Participating in S/4 Hana migration post ECC rollout.Maintaining and supporting SAP applications, troubleshooting, documenting processes, and training users.Engaging in projects and reporting to the Program Lead.Facilitating stakeholder negotiations, business process modeling, system design, data migration, testing, and change management.Additional responsibilities include:
Designing and improving the global SAP solution, leveraging industry best practices.Supporting development, testing, migration, and go-live activities.Contributing to rollout strategies and implementation roadmaps.Skills & competencies required:
+7 years in SAP CO and +5 years in SAP FI.Experience with large IT transformations in international environments.Proven SAP design and customization skills, preferably in Printing/Packaging or Consumer Products industries.Strong financial business process knowledge.Experience with EDI, LSMW, BAPI, BADI, and enhancement techniques;
WinShuttle knowledge isa plus.Basic ABAP understanding with debugging skills.Knowledge of S/4 Hana in relevant areas.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.Educational background:
Master's in IT, Engineering, Sciences, or Economics (4-5 years).Language skills:
Fluent English mandatory;
additional European languages (French, Spanish, Dutch, German) a plus.Personal qualities:
