Reporting to the HR IT Applications Manager, this role operates in a global environment, collaborating with international stakeholders while working closely with a team primarily based in Spain.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR IT Applications Team Lead to drive and evolve global HR systems landscape, with a strong focus on SAP SuccessFactors.
This is a managerial role with strong technical expertise, acting as a key bridge between internal stakeholders and external partners. You will not only ensure the successful delivery of HR IT initiatives, but also define governance, challenge vendors, and shape the future HR technology roadmap.
You will play a critical role in our HR digital transformation journey, contributing to strategic decisions beyond pure execution.
Key Responsibilities
a) Leadership & Governance
* Lead and develop a team of 2 internal specialists + 1 external resource
* Coordinate and oversee multiple external consulting partners
* Define and enforce HR IT governance, standards, and best practices
* Ensure alignment between global HR stakeholders and IT capabilities
b) Strategy & Roadmap
* Own and evolve the HR IT roadmap, aligned with business priorities
* Drive transformation initiatives (e.g., migration from Totara to SuccessFactors)
* Identify optimization opportunities and innovation within the HR tech ecosystem
c) Vendor & Budget Management
* Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring performance and accountability
* Challenge proposals and validate technical decisions from partners
* Optimize costs and ensure efficient allocation of budget and resources
d) HR Systems Ownership
* Own SAP SuccessFactors ecosystem, especially:
* Employee Central (core)
* Talent modules (Performance, Recruiting, Learning) → key focus
* Oversee system configuration, enhancements, and continuous improvement
* Ensure system stability, performance, and scalability
e) Integrations & Architecture
* Own end-to-end system architecture and integrations
* Lead integration strategy and execution via external partners
* Ensure coherence across HR systems landscape
f) Stakeholder Management
* Act as trusted partner for HR Directors and HRBPs globally
* Facilitate workshops and translate business needs into technical solutions
* Provide recommendations and influence decisions at senior level
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills
* 7–10+ years of experience in HR IT / HR Systems
* Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors, especially:
* Employee Central (mandatory)
* Talent modules (nice to have but highly relevant)
* Experience leading teams or working with external vendors
* Proven experience in HR digital transformation projects
* Strong understanding of system architecture and integrations
* Ability to challenge technical proposals and defend solutions
