Position Overview
We're seeking a skilled Financial Content Editor to join our Barcelona team and help scale our content operations as we expand across multiple financial verticals.
This is an on-site freelance position where you'll work directly with our team to maintain the editorial standards that differentiate us in the market.
Key Responsibilities
* Edit and refine financial reviews, comparison guides, and educational content
* Ensure accuracy of trading terminology, platform features, and financial concepts
* Maintain our editorial voice while upholding zero-bias review standards
* Collaborate with writers to improve content quality and SEO performance
* Fact‑check claims about trading conditions, fees, regulations, and platform features
* Optimize content for search visibility while preserving readability
* Help develop style guidelines for financial content across multiple verticals
What We are Looking For
Required:
* Native or near‑native English proficiency
* Proven editing experience with attention to detail
* Strong understanding of grammar, style, and content structure
* Ability to work on‑site from our Barcelona office
* Comfortable with fast‑paced content production cycles
Highly Valued:
* Financial writing or editing experience (forex, crypto, prop trading)
* Familiarity with trading platforms, brokers, or crypto exchanges
* Understanding of SEO best practices for content
* Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms
* Background in journalism, finance, or related fields
