Our mission is to help more people and businesses prosper.We promote a strong risk culture, expecting all professionals to proactively manage risks responsibly.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGThis role supports the Compensation & Benefits HR functions for Santander London Branch (SLB), ensuring global procedures are followed within the guidelines and schedule of the Global SCIB Reward team. The role also involves supporting HR risk and third-party management processes.Responsibilities include:
Preparing and maintaining files for the bonus process, ensuring data integrity, business allocation, bonus references, manager allocations, and eligibility.Managing the end-of-year bonus files and analyses related to performance, business, and internal grade consistency, bonus caps, MRT impact, etc.Preparing files for salary reviews, including eligibility, recommendations, budget calculations, and junior progression.Supporting the SLB Reward Manager with bonus payments, salary reviews, payroll submissions, and communication materials.Maintaining reporting databases for market information providers like McLagan, collaborating with the Global Head of Reward on salary band preparation and analysis.Implementing global or SCIB centralised reward programmes.Generating reports for global or UK business needs, including remuneration history, market analysis, etc.Performing additional analyses as requested by the business or Reward leadership.The role also involves supporting the SCIB UK HR team with:
Preparing reports on employment data, diversity, attrition, and other metrics for global and local reporting.Compiling UK Non-Financial Risk Metrics, including attrition, disciplinary cases, and work-related incidents.Preparing data and presentations for HR updates and meetings.Reporting on D&I KPIs quarterly.Managing controls related to leavers, certifications, and SMCR procedures.Reporting People-related KPIs in Heracles.EDUCATIONDegree in Data, HR, or related fields.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGEExperience in HR data analysis and global/regional data processes.Experience in reward functions and HR data consolidation.Understanding of reward processes, salary reviews, and market data analysis.Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.Ability to work under pressure and in diverse teams.Empathy and tolerance for ambiguity.Learn more about us on
