We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer in Getafe.
Your main tasks will be:
1. Design and modeling of primary and secondary aircraft structures using steel and composite materials
2. Ensure manufacturability, tolerancing, and design compliance with aerospace standards
3. Use 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA VPM to manage and deliver design work
4. Collaborate with stress engineers, manufacturing teams, and certification engineers
5. Create and review technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation
6. Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement in design methodologies
7. Deliver designs in alignment with project schedules and quality targets
Requirements
About you:
8. You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, or are a qualified CAD Design Technician
9. You have 10+ years of senior-level experience in the design of aerospace
10. You have deep expertise in steel and composite structural design, manufacturing methods, and tolerancing
11. You are fluent in English and Spanish
Mandatory skills:
12. Expertise in 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA VPM
13. Strong understanding of aerospace design standards, GD&T, and design-for-manufacture principles
14. Proven collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in aerospace development projects
Added Value:
15. Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 aerospace suppliers
16. Familiarity with configuration management and PLM systems
