Research Engineer for Infrastructure in Health Data Projects (RE1 / RE2) The Barcelona Supercomputing Center - Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS) is the leading supercomputing center in Spain. The mission of BSC is to research, develop, and manage information technologies to facilitate scientific progress.

We are looking for a talented Research Engineer to join our team and contribute to these innovative projects.

Programming : Demonstrate mid to advanced knowledge of programming and good practices, particularly in Python, Java, and / or R (other languages are also welcome).
Software Architecture : Assist in designing and planning the development of software architecture and its components.
Document and publish data and software following FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) standards.
Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience : Strong development skills and experience with UNIX / LINUX environments.
Familiarity with container development using Docker and / or Kubernetes.
Experience working in a collaborative software development environment (e.g., We offer a full-time contract (37.5h / week), a good working environment, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, and support for relocation procedures.
Duration : Open-ended contract linked to the project and budget duration.
Holidays : 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreement.
