About the job:
One of our top clients is looking for a Developer for Test Automation. You will play a vital role in developing and enhancing the corporate IT center and will focus on ensuring software quality and reliability through automated testing solutions. Collaboration with software developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders is essential to uphold high standards. Key responsibilities include designing, maintaining, and executing automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca and qTest, providing training to colleagues, and serving as a key user for test automation initiatives.
100% remote in Europe | 6 month full-time position | FREELANCE
Responsibilities:
* Design and sustain frameworks, tools, and scripts for automated testing to enhance processes and expand test coverage.
* Work with stakeholders to create test cases and embed automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline.
* Apply algorithms like pairwise and linear expansion to optimize test coverage.
* Develop and oversee automated performance and load tests to assess system scalability and response times.
* Run functional and regression test suites, report software issues, and collaborate with developers to ensure swift resolution.
* Additionally, manage test cases, maintain the test repository, and keep up with industry best practices for ongoing process optimization.
What we are looking for:
* University degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement.
* Preferred experience includes software development, test automation, and proficiency in Tricentis tools such as qTest and Tosca.
* Strong programming expertise in Visual Basic, Java, or C#, along with knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in German and Spanish is considered a plus.
* Effective collaboration skills are crucial for engaging with cross-functional teams and clients.
