About the job We are looking for a Solution & Design Professional Europe for our 3PL / International Logistics team in Alcobendas, Madrid .
YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Level profile with extensive experience in Pricing and Logistics to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing customized supply chains for complex projects across Europe, with a specific focus on Southern Europe, ensuring the most efficient and competitive solutions for our clients.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Key Responsibilities:
* Solutions Design & Strategy: Logistics engineering to design customized supply chains and conduct feasibility analysis of routes, modes, and costs.
* Pricing & Tendering Management: Leading the RFQ, RFP, and tender response process from initial receipt to final submission.
* Proposal Evaluation: Assessing and reviewing bids to verify pre-qualification criteria, contractual exceptions, technical specifications, and pricing requirements.
* Bid Preparation: Preparing accurate, compliant, and competitive commercial responses within set deadlines.
* Rate Structuring: Developing and maintaining competitive pricing models through tariff and profit margin analysis.
* Negotiation: Dealing directly with providers and carriers to secure optimal conditions.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Education: Degree in Logistics, International Trade, or Business Administration.
* Years of Experience: Senior Level experience in Pricing/Logistics. Experience in international freight forwarders with Project Logistics activities is essential.
* Languages: Fluent in both English and Spanish.
* Technical Knowledge (Hard Skills):
* Excellent MS Office skills (Expert-level Excel for cost modeling and data management).
* Experience with CRM systems and Transport Management Systems (TMS).
* Required Knowledge (Logistics):
* Technical understanding of tariffs and freight management.
* Knowledge of international sales and large-scale project logistics.
* Key Competencies (Soft Skills):
* Negotiation and analytical thinking.
* Effective communication in multicultural environments.
