Your Impact:
We are looking for an energy storage system engineer .
You will develop high voltage electrical energy storage systems .

Your role and responsibilities:
* Specify functional and performance requirements for energy storage and power conversion solutions in aeronautical applications.
* Ensure equipment integration with electrical distribution networks and propulsion systems.
* Follow development and integration processes, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards.
* Evaluate different energy storage technologies for future aircraft designs, considering compatibility with functional and regulatory requirements.
* Manage equipment and system development reviews.
* Lead external suppliers to meet safety, cost, quality, and performance standards.
* Support suppliers in addressing technical challenges.
* Design and utilize simulation models.
* Report progress to management and operational teams.
Support will be provided by a network of experts in your daily tasks.

* Proven experience in energy storage and conversion system design and integration.
* Experience with various cell chemistries (Li-ion, supercapacitors, etc.) and protection systems.
* Knowledge of thermal management of battery packs and mitigation of thermal runaway phenomena.
* Experience with battery management systems, charging/discharging cycles, and hybrid system control.
* Experience in high voltage power electronics and conversion topologies.
* Skills in modeling, simulation, testing, and V&V principles.
* Strong relationship building, networking, and communication skills.
* High initiative, credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality, and trust.
* Eager to learn and have fun.
* Languages: Negotiation level of English; French is a plus.
