Your Mission
Reporting directly to the European Technical Service Manager, as a Technical Support Engineer, your mission will be to ensure the successful application and long-term performance of Stonhard flooring systems by providing technical expertise, troubleshooting support and field guidance.
You will play a key role connecting technical knowledge, product performance and customer satisfaction, helping sales teams, installers and clients achieve the highest standards in every project.
What Impact Will You Have?
In this role, you will combine fieldwork, technical analysis and collaboration with international teams to support continuous improvement and project success.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Providing technical support and recommendations to sales and installation teams regarding products, applications and field issues.
• Traveling to project sites to investigate installation challenges, perform failure analysis and prepare technical reports.
• Managing assigned field investigations, identifying root causes and supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with R&D teams in Europe and the US on product improvements, field trials and scale-up procedures for new technologies.
• Working closely with the European Technical Service Manager to ensure alignment with global technical standards and strategic direction.
• Delivering on-site technical training to installers on products, systems and application techniques.
• Supporting the transfer of technical knowledge through webinars, technical bulletins, training sessions and technical documentation.
• Assisting in the localization and translation of technical documentation into Spanish
What Will Help You Succeed
• Native or bilingual Spanish and fluent English.
• Technical degree in chemistry, materials engineering, technical engineering or related fields.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and drive improvements.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work between field, office and remote environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multicultural teams
• At least 2 years of experience providing technical support within chemical materials or cosntruction industries (preferred)
• Availability to travel extensively across the Iberian Peninsula (3–4 days per week)
• Valid driver’s license
