We're looking for a Staff AI Software Engineer to help shape this transformation and lead the evolution of our platform into an AI-first ecosystem.
What will you do?
As a Staff AI Software Engineer, you will be responsible for defining how AI is built, adopted and scaled across the company. This is a highly strategic role where you'll combine hands-on engineering, architecture and technical leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
* Design and implement AI-driven architectures, agent systems and orchestration frameworks.
* Lead the adoption of Generative AI technologies across products and engineering teams.
* Build scalable AI-powered solutions using LLMs, RAG architectures and agent-based workflows.
* Drive AI initiatives from Proof of Concept to production-ready systems.
* Define technical standards, best practices and architectural guidelines for AI development.
* Act as a technical leader and mentor across multiple engineering teams.
* Improve engineering productivity through AI-powered development workflows and tooling.
* Collaborate directly with Product, Engineering and Leadership teams to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
* Previous experience as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Lead Engineer or similar technical leadership role.
* Strong experience designing scalable architectures and distributed systems.
* Expert knowledge of Node.Js, TypeScript and modern backend architectures.
* Strong frontend experience with React.
* Hands-on experience building solutions with LLMs (GPT, Claude or similar).
* Experience with AI agents, RAG architectures, prompt engineering and AI orchestration frameworks.
* Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
* Passion for emerging AI technologies and a proven track record of experimentation.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
* Fluent English and Spanish.
