Mission
Serve as communications security expert in global project engagements and initiatives, helping businesses to architect security solutions to address business requirements while driving compliance with security policy, regulation and best practices.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Leads and/or executes the implementation of new systems architectures and infrastructure related projects.
* Maintain industry leading understanding of IT Security technologies.
* Serve as the IT Communications & Security Architect in the analysis, design, and planning phases of IT related projects.
* Responsible for achieving project objectives, managing quality, timeliness, and cost of the deliverables, and reporting project status.
* Provide technical expertise for the planning and definition of new system requirements within approved architectures: perform feasibility and performance studies, including benchmark, capacity planning, sizing, etc.
* Develop appropriate systems recommendations to meet user needs, including system configurations and installation planning.
* Prepare and present technical product information to user community.
* Identify proactively, together with the IT solution provider, any shortcomings in performance and propose solutions for their correction. Ensure adequacy of upgrades.
* Implementation and post-installation responsibilities include technical consulting to user community and providing solutions to software problems.
* Support and be responsible for defined system administration activities on an allocated/defined system or environment.
* Support defined areas of the business, e.g., departments or countries in user and operational requirements, troubleshooting and migration to new versions.
* Write all related documentation (Validation docs, systems proposals/recommendation, etc.).
* Provide input to Service Level Agreements definition.
* Design configuration and administration in support of ongoing projects.
Education
* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Technology.
Specific Knowledge
* Industry-recognized security certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
* Understanding of security-specific architecture methodologies.
* Proven track record of implementing IT Security solutions that make sense for the business and are technically sound.
* Knowledge of project life cycle methodologies.
* Ability to continuously prioritize and multitask efficiently.
* Ability to influence decisions with critical thinking based upon experience and grasp of the strategic intent of the project.
* Technologies (Cisco for networking and UCC, Palo Alto, Fortinet, SIEM, IDS/IPS).
* Strong understanding of core IT Security capabilities and technologies.
* Strong communication, presentation, organizational, facilitation, and negotiation skills (including ability to “translate” between business and technology needs).
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* High level of English.
Experience
* At least 5 years as IT System engineer supporting complex infrastructure setup and sensitive business applications.
* Enterprise IT Security Expertise.
* Project Management experience in at least 3 mid-large size infrastructure related projects.
