The Western European Shared Services Center (SSC) supports our country organizations and regional / global Business Units with a strong focus on operational excellence & customer satisfaction.
These expert services are related to financial accounting, reporting, business analysis & controlling, budgeting & forecasting and data quality management.
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Accountant, with 1 to 3 years of experience, to join our Shared Service Center in Barcelona. The successful candidate will support our UK local Finance Team remotely.
Responsibilities:
Production of invoices
Create master data like projects, contracts in SAP FI/CO/SD.
Carry out daily business support requests.
Support with purchase requests for customer renewals and new purchases.
Maintenance of billing schedules and billing contracts.
Handle day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate and timely recording.
Collaborate with the UK and Barcelona teams to provide financial support and analysis.
Participate in the month-end activities.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Understanding of fundamental accounting principles
Fluent in English in a must
Well-versed in MS Office suite, especially Excel and preferably familiar with SAP
Experience handling contract billing is preferable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Ability to organize efficiently and work in an international team
