Your contribution
As an FAS based in Madrid, you will work for an industry leader, joining a integral team of engineers committed to ensuring Tecan's professional service for customers who use our scientific instrumentation and software. In this position you will provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches, build positive relationships with our customers, and comprehend customer requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Execution of service actions, installations, problem diagnosis, preventive maintenance and repairs – consistent follow up and customer satisfaction
Training of new and existing customers on the use and maintenance of our systems (Hardware and Software)
Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
Sharing information obtained from unique problems or specialised trainings with the rest of your team
Providing inputs and assistance to the Sales team for their sales proposals, and creating quotations for all types of service activities
Documenting service actions according to industry standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Managing spare parts inventory according to quality guidelines
Your background
Bachelor's or master's degree in life sciences (biology, chemistry or similar) or at least two years' experience in Field Service and/or Application Support.
Experience in lab-automation is a plus but not a must.
Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
Willingness to travel – national and international.
Highly customer-oriented mindset.
Proven team player, collaborative spirit.
Knowledge of developing software applications for Automatic Liquid Handling systems is a plus.
A valid driver's license and ability to travel in Spain or abroad.
