Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Market Analyst who will be the primary expert on our external environment, answering the fundamental question: "What is happening outside our walls?" This role is responsible for executing the data-driven components of our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, ensuring that our sales and product efforts are aligned with real-world opportunities and competitive shifts.
Responsibilities:
Competitor Intelligence: Monitor, analyze, and produce regular reports on competitor movements, product offerings, and strategic shifts to maintain our competitive edge.
TAM & Market Sizing: Maintain and update Total Addressable Market (TAM) data, providing deep-dive analysis into market size and potential for current and future regions.
Pricing Analysis: Conduct ongoing pricing benchmarks and elasticity studies to ensure our commercial offerings are optimized against industry standards.
Vertical Identification: Proactively identify and evaluate new target verticals and high-growth segments to expand our market footprint.
Lead Identification: Use market data to identify specific potential targets and high-value clients, providing the Sales team with actionable intelligence to fuel the pipeline.
GTM Alignment: Directly support the execution of the GTM strategy by providing the market validation and data insights necessary for successful product launches and market entry.
Requirements:
At least 5 years in a similar role
High English fluency (C1/C2 Bilingual/Native)
Proficiency in data modeling and statistical analysis, with a specific focus on TAM/SAM/SOM methodologies.
Proven ability to gather and synthesize secondary research and "field" intelligence into actionable competitor reports.
Ability to look beyond raw data to understand the "why" behind market trends and how they impact the company's GTM roadmap.
Strong understanding of pricing models, revenue drivers, and market-based valuation.
Mastery of Excel/Google Sheets for complex data analysis and experience with market intelligence tools (e.g., Crunchbase, Pitchbook, or industry-specific databases).
Ability to present complex market data to senior leadership (CEO level) in a clear, concise, and strategic manner.
A self-starter who identifies market opportunities before they are requested by internal teams.
