Now, we are looking for an Intermediate Project Engineer in our office in Barcelona, Spain.
We are looking for an engineer with experience in project management, either in a client or consulting company, to participate in a wide range of project work actively, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions. The management of each project can include multiple phases and/or specializations.
Responsibilities
* Strategic Consulting: project master planning, conceptual engineering.
* Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall time-schedule, procurement strategy, financial plan.
* Project preparation phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing and procurement.
* Project realization phase: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.
The role of the Senior Project Manager Engineer is to deliver to the client a quality of services within the defined budget and planning.
What is the role About?
We are looking for an engineer with experience in project management:
* Experienced in project documentation and control, cost control, scheduling, construction supervision.
* Comfortable taking tasks that require various skills and prioritizing task completion.
* Experience on the complete life cycle of projects (master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works, main infrastructure needs, contracting and construction management and supervision).
* Valuable experience in the Food & Beverages sector.
* Industrial environment projects with scope in process engineering; equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, automation, etc.
* Notions in civil works, building utilities and process utilities.
* Experience in permitting and procurement is an asset.
* Valuable experience in mid-to-big sized projects (>1M€ / > 10M€).
Requirements
* Education: Industrial/Civil/Chemical engineer.
* Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience on industrial projects. Experience in Food/Beverages/Engineering companies/Life Sciences.
* Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English is a must, and French or German is an asset.
* Specific Knowledge: Knowledge in PC-literate MS Word and Excel and PowerPoint applications, MS Project, AutoCAD.
* Driver License B.
* Key Skills:
o Analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Organization and time management.
o Multidisciplinary team management.
o Effective communication with stakeholders.
* Location: Barcelona with availability to travel up to 60-80% time, depending on project needs.
