Our Martos plant is one of the biggest sites within our Visibility Systems Business Group, responsible for developing and manufacturing lighting products and electronics. From adaptive lighting to interior and external lighting solutions, Valeo innovates to improve driver and passenger safety and comfort.
As a Hardware Engineer at Valeo Martos, you will design cutting-edge electronics for top car manufacturers in a fast-paced, international, and multicultural environment.
Your mission is to design electronic circuits based on customer specifications for automotive illumination systems, utilizing the latest techniques in a constantly evolving environment.
Your Responsibilities
* Define, develop, and validate hardware design according to customer specifications and Valeo standards
* Integrate constraints from different domains (hardware, software, mechanical, quality, industrialization) into the hardware design
* Collaborate with PCB layout engineers and ensure PCB layout quality
* Support EMC design activities
* Assist in customer validation and design review activities
* Contribute to improving standards, methods, and tools
Desired Skills and Experience
* Electronics Engineering Degree/Master's or Telecommunications or equivalent experience
* Experience in hardware design
* Knowledge of simulation and CAD tools (Simetrix, Pspice, Cadence, etc.)
* Good practices in EMC
* Proficiency with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.)
* Passion for hardware design and the automotive industry
* Negotiation level of English is mandatory
