Azure Data Engineer (FULLREMOTE - Only Spanish Residents)
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data processing pipelines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL, ETL processes, and cloud technologies. You will collaborate closely with Data Scientists to ensure data integration, quality and support advanced analytics.
Responsibilities

* Implement and manage cloud data storage systems.
* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide suitable solutions.
* Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
* Automate data ingestion, cleaning, and transformation processes.
* Monitor the performance of data systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.
* Optimize performance and scalability of Big Data solutions.
* Support data integration, quality, and advanced analytics initiatives.
* Maintain documentation and best‑practice guides for data engineering workflows.
* Sign an NDA and adhere to confidentiality, information security, and internal policies.
Technical Knowledge

* Proficiency in Python programming.
* Advanced SQL skills: Joins, Group By, subqueries, temporary tables.
* Strong knowledge of Apache Spark.
* Hands‑on experience with Azure technologies, especially Data Factory and Databricks.
* Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory, Airflow, or Control‑M.
* DevOps experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
Desirable Skills

* Knowledge of visualization tools such as Power BI or Grafana.
* Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
