Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications.
* Ensure the effective execution of testing activities, following the testing strategy and best practices and standards, by conducting regular review of quality-related metrics and reports.
* Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across different platforms and environments.
* Thoroughly identify, document, track, and retest defects using our bug tracking system, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
* Collaborate with the team to develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites and frameworks, integrating them into our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
* Explore and establish test automation framework and test automation scripting standards as needed.
* Actively participate in the continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments and test data.
* Provide complete and well-structured test report for relevant finding during functional and non- functional testing execution.
* Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues related to test automation.
Required technical skills:
* Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and practices.
* Proficiency in Python and Typescript for test scripting and framework development.
* Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Cucumber.
* Experience testing APIs and microservices (REST, GraphQL).
* Working knowledge of AWS CloudWatch or similar monitoring tools.
* Atlassian Application Lifecycle Management (Jira/Confluence).
* Knowledge of performance testing and metrics interpretation.
* Experience with automating manual processes targeting human-quality outcomes using different automation techniques, including AI-based approaches.
* Hands-on experience with testing and quality assurance, test case creation, debugging and troubleshooting and quality control measures.
* Understanding of CI/CD processes and Git-based workflows.
* Experience in testing applications deployed on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to details.
Having one or more of the following skills is nice-to-have:
* Experience with Bruno or similar API testing tools.
* Experience with additional automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress JMeter).
* Familiarity testing software solutions built with SQL, NoSQL and Graph Databases.
* Familiarity with several AWS services (Lambda, S3, ECS, etc.).
* Hands-on experience with Docker.
