Position Overview : As the CSO, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic direction, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring alignment across all departments to execute on long-term goals. You will lead strategic initiatives, market research, and competitive analysis to guide key decision-making and drive business performance. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future and ensuring we remain at the forefront of the online gambling industry.

Key Responsibilities :

* Strategic Planning & Execution : Develop and implement the company’s overall business strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term goals and growth objectives. Lead cross-functional teams in executing key initiatives.
* Market & Competitive Analysis : Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitors to identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Present insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
* Business Development : Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and new market opportunities to expand the company’s reach and revenue streams.
* Product Strategy : Collaborate with the Product and Tech teams to define product strategies and roadmaps that will enhance customer experience, drive engagement, and increase market share.
* Risk Management & Compliance : Oversee strategic risk assessments, ensuring the company’s growth strategies comply with industry regulations and responsible gambling policies.
* Financial Stewardship : Collaborate with the CFO to ensure strategic initiatives are supported by sound financial planning, and evaluate potential investments and ROI on new ventures.
* Executive Leadership : Work closely with the CEO and other C-suite executives to drive company vision, culture, and operational performance. Mentor and develop senior team members in the strategy function.
* Brand Development : Work with the Marketing and Communications teams to enhance the company’s brand positioning, ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints.

Qualifications :

* Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
* Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or corporate strategy. 5+ years specifically within the online gambling, iGaming sectors.
* Leadership : Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, with the ability to inspire and drive results across multiple departments.
* Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of the online gambling industry, including regulatory landscape, customer trends, and competitive dynamics.
* Analytical Skills : Strong data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable strategy.
* Communication : Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to various stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and senior management.
* Global Perspective : Experience working in international markets, with a strong understanding of global regulatory environments, cultural nuances, and regional market trends.

Preferred Skills :

* Experience with online gaming and iGaming platforms.
* Familiarity with emerging technologies, such as AI, blockchain, or virtual reality, in gambling.
* Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
