Machine Learning Engineer- Medical Imaging
We are supporting a leader in AI-powered quantitative imaging that is using FDA approved tools to enable better detection, diagnosis and treatment of oncological and neurological diseases. To be able to advance the next generation of our neurological and oncological products, we are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in image processing.
Key Responsibilities
To develop, train and deploy deep learning models (CNN based) to automate segmentation, qualification and longitudinal tracking of CT brain images and MRI.
Build and implement pre and post processing pipelines for 3D medical image data—including DICOM handling, normalization, quality control and registration.
Translate clinical requirements into ML specifications and integrate models into cloud-based/PACS-connected systems.
Evaluate, validate and monitor model performance focusing on generalization, robustness and clinical reliability.
Required Experience / Skills
Vast experience in medical image processing with hands‐on experience in MRI and CT neuroimaging.
Strong background with Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch and TensorFlow).
Understanding of DICOM standards alongside large‐scale 3D imaging workflows.
Clinical, neurology, radiology or oncology environment experience.
Knowledge of ML engineering practices—including version control, clean code, reproducible pipelines and experiment tracking.

Contribution to clinical‐grade imaging tools within a healthcare setting.
