About the role:
As an Analytics Engineer at Bdeo, you'll play a critical role in our data team. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data analytics’ stack that empowers our teams to make data-driven decisions. Your main tasks will include:
* Building and optimizing ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow.
* Writing complex SQL queries to transform raw data into actionable insights.
* Developing and maintaining data pipelines using Python.
* Working with AWS services to manage and deploy data solutions.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g. customer success, sales, finance…) to understand data needs and deliver effective analytical solutions via business intelligence.
* Leveraging AI-assisted tools to enhance data processing and analysis.
About you (Our requirements):
* Experience Level: Analytics Engineer with +2 years of experience.
* Data Team Experience: Proven track record of working effectively in data teams.
* Technical Skills:
o Extensive knowledge of SQL, ODM and ETLs (basics and optimization).
o Proficiency with major databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, dynamo…).
o Experience using database management tools such as pgAdmin.
o Experience using BI visualization tools such as Metabase or Tableau.
o Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, boto3, aws cdk…).
o Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
* Best Practices: Solid understanding of software development best practices.
* Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish.
* AI Tools: Experience using AI-assisted tools (genAI) for coding and querying, and for flows automation (i.e. n8n…) is a plus.
