The Challenge
As a Senior Content Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the content strategy and execution across our products. You will be responsible for driving solution discovery, delivering engaging content, and ensuring a user‐centric approach. You will work closely with cross‐functional teams to align content with business objectives and enhance the overall user experience. Your leadership skills will be instrumental in mentoring junior designers and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.
What You Will Do
Write clear, concise and effective copy that reflects the tone, style and brand personality while driving desired user actions and delivering compelling and meaningful user‐centered experiences.
Create effective working relationships with key stakeholders from research, product management and product marketing to further your product area and team's objectives.
Create and maintain content design guidelines, frameworks and modalities to ensure quality, consistency, and a clear Wallapop voice across the product.
Offer strategic guidance, mentorship and share best practices within the content design and UX teams.
Collaborate with other content designers to define and foster adoption of user‐centric content design practices, frameworks and processes.
What We're Looking For
Solid communication skills in Spanish and English, including impeccable writing and a high level of understanding.
Strong experience in UX Writing and Content Strategy, particularly within a marketplace or e‐commerce environment.
Strong system thinking with familiarity in taxonomy creation.
Proven strong understanding of business models to align user experience design with strategic business objectives.
Proven ability to frame complex problems and develop innovative solutions collaboratively with the teams.
Strong understanding of user‐centered design principles and methodologies (empathy maps, personas, journeys ...)
Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with analytics tools.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
All of our jobs are Barcelona based. We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of 6 days per month in the office. Each team self‐organises to decide on cadence and in‐person/remote rituals.

Case Study Submission – you will be assigned a task to submit within 5‐7 days where you will be able to showcase your expertise/technical skills required for the role.
Expertise Interview – run by the hiring team, focuses on the required core skills and the ability to deliver in a given context. This usually takes 90 minutes.
Stakeholder Interview – run by relevant stakeholders reflecting the reality of the context of the role, focus on the ability to collaborate & deliver across a cross‐functional set‐up. This usually takes 60 minutes.
Culture Interview – run by culture interviewers, focus on adherence to Wallapop's purpose and business proposition. This usually takes 60 minutes.
Offer – should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with talent acquisition and will then be confirmed in writing.
