The Technical Product Manager (TPM) for Payment Integrations will act as the ultimate technical bridge between external payment suppliers and our internal engineering team. This role is 90% focused on technical execution, documentation, and delivery. The ideal candidate will dissect API documentation, test endpoints, and transform complex technical requirements into flawless development roadmaps to simplify everyday payments for companies worldwide.
Responsibilities
* API Validation & Integration: Dive deep into provider documentation, run transactional tests to verify system connections, and validate technical feasibility before the development team begins coding.
* Provider Tech Ownership & Maintenance: Act as the primary technical point of contact for payment suppliers, tracking their releases, resolving integration doubts, and ensuring long-term connection maintenance.
* Launch & Enhance: Successfully launch 2 new payment services and enhance 2 existing ones, with a strict focus on increasing conversion rates.
* Troubleshooting: Actively diagnose, isolate, and resolve technical issues or friction points within payment integration workflows.
* Cross-Functional Impact: Deliver tangible value to external non-tech teams (such as Operations or Finance) by improving payment data workflows or reporting efficiency.
* Timeline Accountability: Eliminate friction in technical communication between external suppliers and internal developers, ensuring tight follow-ups on release times.
Required Skills
* 3+ years of experience directly handling API integrations, software development, or a deeply technical product role (No team management required).
* Strong, hands-on understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, JSON structures, and authentication protocols (OAuth, API Keys, JWT).
* Advanced proficiency with Postman (or similar API testing tools) to validate requests, responses, and error handling.
* Fluent English and Spanish, Ukrainian and Portuguese are considered a plus.
* Proactive, analytical thinker with hyper-sharp attention to detail, strong follow-up skills, and a structured problem-solving approach.
