What are we looking for?
An ambitious and talented professional to join our Finance Department as Senior Controller - North of Europe, based at our Madrid headquarters.
MISSION: Consolidate and analyze financial information to support decision-making, monitor P&L compliance, discounts, promotional plans, and deviations impacting objectives across channels, chains, and clients, aligned with strategic goals.
KEY FUNCTIONS
* Finance Team: Lead profitability analyses, provide financial insights, coordinate information with teams, manage closing activities, and optimize processes.
* Analysis and Profitability: Perform and interpret planning exercises, analyze income statements, sales, discounts, and promotional plans, and communicate findings to management.
* Administration and Control: Monitor promotional activities, ensure correct pricing and discounts, train staff, and ensure system accuracy and compliance.
* Budget and Forecast: Support budget development, validate P&L projections.
* Pricing and Discounts: Track compliance, contribute to pricing strategies.
* Financial Presentations: Present financial performance to commercial teams.
Experience & Competences
* 5+ years in financial planning or commercial/sales administrative roles, with 3+ years in similar positions.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Organizational skills and effective prioritization.
* Proactive, initiative-driven, and determined.
* Intermediate English proficiency.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, SAP, and preferably Power BI.
