An innovative aerospace technology company is seeking a Mechanical & Thermal Engineer – Ingeniero Mecánico y Térmico with over four years of experience to join its multidisciplinary engineering team. This key role will lead the mechanical and thermal design of satellite platforms and contribute to the evolution of advanced space systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring structural and thermal reliability ,supporting system integration, and driving innovation in mechanical and thermal performance for space applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the mechanical and thermal integration of the ABEP thruster into the satellite flight model.
Design and develop the mechanical and thermal subsystems for the satellite platform.
Contribute to the development and refinement of engineering, qualification (EQM), and flight models (FM).
Support enhancements of the laboratory model for the ABEP thruster, focusing on thermal and structural performance.
Ensure all designs meet stringent requirements for space environments, including structural integrity and thermal stability.
Requirements:
Over 4 years of experience in mechanical and thermal design within the aerospace sector or related technology industries.
Advanced proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar tools.
Practical experience in thermal analysis using Ansys Thermal or equivalent simulation software.
Knowledge of material properties and structural behavior under harsh conditions is highly valued.
Proven ability to contribute throughout the full product development cycle in a multidisciplinary team setting.
