Responsibilities
* Overdue & entity DSO follow-up: interact with key customer contacts and internal teams to resolve disputes proactively and raise issues promptly.
* Ensure compliance with payment terms and prompt payment discounts, and follow up on customers' payment profiles.
* Coordinate with Front Office & Customer Support teams for claims.
* Coordinate with credit risk department regarding overdue accounts, credit blockages, and risk filters.
* Manage customer debt portfolios using My DSO manager, aiming for 100% debt qualification.
* Report End of Month aging for the entity.
* Act as Portugal debt business partner, promoting a cash culture across teams.
* Support and prepare Portugal Credit Committee meetings monthly.
* Coordinate with departments like treasury and accounting to ensure proper cash allocation, statement updates, and bank guarantees.
* Follow up on customers’ bad debts and propose process improvements in collections and dispute resolution.
* Manage SAP/Oracle to review credit filters and aging reports.
