Asset integrity engineer

General Description:Reporting to the Asset Integrity Interface Manager, the Asset Integrity Project Engineer will be responsible for managing & delivering project objectives to the agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements. The role will require excellent motivation, discipline and organisation skills, the ability to communicate and engage with teams effectively and excellent project management and supervision skills. The role will involve taking responsibility for a variety of projects and at varying degrees of maturity, with responsibility to establish a common approach to delivery aligned to company objectives and processes.

Core Main Accountabilities:

Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring assigned engineering projectsCommunicating effectively with team members to interpret their requirements and needsMaintaining quality control and compliance in every aspect of the projectSubmitting reports on project statusFormulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employeesProvide technical support and guidance to the project team membersCoordinate with various teams, including design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance teams, to ensure project goals are metPreparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the assigned engineering projects.Client interaction and interpreting their needs and requirements for the projectGetting a better understanding of the project and assigning the work role to reliable employeesDeveloping specifications for the projectLiaise with and provide support to the site-based O&M team, including supporting warranty managementAction and/or prepare processes and procedures to support Asset IntegrityProvide high quality reporting to internal and external stakeholders as required.Required Academic and Professional Experience:

A degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred. Relevant industry experience would be consideredExperience in a Project Engineering or Management roleA minimum of 3 years' experience within the energy sector is requiredExperience within the offshore wind sector is desirableAbility to support all facets of projects throughout the full lifecycleExperience in an engineering support role is required.Required Knowledge and Competencies:Demonstrable knowledge in the following areas is required:

Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to cultivate good relationshipsStrong analytical and judgement skills and the ability to develop budgets and track expendituresBe initiative and the ability to set and meet deadlinesExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to build morale among the teams and promote continuous improvementExcellent understanding of project expectations and deliverablesGood understanding of Project Management fundamentalsKnowledge of the following areas is desirable:

Wind farm performance management and optimisation.Offshore Wind O&MOffshore biased projectsTechnical risk analysis.Languages:The project has an international team of employees, and the working language is English. Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written. Proficiency in other languages will be valued.

Location:Based in Madrid.
