As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of software applications. You will work closely with the Application Lifecycle Management and QA teams to identify test requirements and create automated test cases.
Tasks:
Design and develop automated test cases using the tools SAP Solution Manager and Tricentis Tosca and qualify them with required test data.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality.
Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand application functionality and testing requirements.
Maintain and update existing automated test cases to accommodate changes in the application.
Document test cases, test results, and defects and create reports.
Continuously improve the test automation framework and processes.
Substitution for extended ALM topics, such as Change and Release Management.
Requisitos mínimos:
- Degree in business informatics, software engineering, or a related field.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. SAP Solution Manager, Tricentis Tosca, Jira).
Programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C# are an advantage.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Proficiency in English.
