Role Summary
The Project Manager will plan, direct, and ensure the successful outcome of projects using Flowserve's established standards, practices, and toolsets. Working directly with internal and external stakeholders, the Project Manager ensures all project activity is regularly reported and performed according to agreed technical specifications and terms.
Your Responsibilities
* Demonstrate ownership and accountability for total project execution, performance, and safety from initiation to completion.
* Drive improved customer relationships by creating a work environment free of unfavorable circumstances and meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
* Ensure a “clean order” before commencement and use the change‑management system to control scope and cost throughout the life of the project.
* Coordinate activities of all matrix reports per project.
* Manage spending expectations for each assigned project.
* Communicate project milestones, status updates, and potential escalation issues, following escalation processes and owning all reports.
* Apply program / project‑management experience.
* Deliver excellent presentation, oral, and written communication, including meeting and workshop facilitation.
* Build teams, solve problems, and resolve conflicts.
* Use Microsoft Office effectively.
* Carry out other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
* Excellent estimating, scheduling, and budgeting skills.
* Proven experience in risk and change management.
* Greenbelt, Blackbelt, or Lean training experience preferred.
* Experience with rotating equipment.
* Adaptability, flexibility, and proactivity.
* BS or BA degree in a relevant field (0–2 years of relevant experience acceptable).
