Assistant Manager QC & Regulatory (Mumbai, Maharashtra, India)
Ventós Groupis an international company specialized in the distribution of ingredients as Essential Oils & Aroma Chemicals for the Flavors & Fragrances Industry with the Head Quarters located in Barcelona, Spain.
The company has 9 subsidiaries around the world andVentós Indiais the Indian one, located in Mumbai, India.
In order to continue with the process of growth, the selected candidate will assist the Laboratory & Regulatory Area.
Quality Control Responsibilities
* Quality approval of the products: sample analysis, interpretation, and release of data among others
* Supervise the equipment and do the maintenance of the instrumentation to guarantee its optimized efficiency, troubleshooting
* Use Gas Chromatography to analyze flavor samples and report data
* Develop methods and QC processes when needed
* Synergies with the QC department in the Head Quarters
Regulatory Affairs Responsibilities
* Ensure the raw materials compliance considering the legislation
* Anticipate and answer to regulatory requests from the customers
* Implement and supervise a legislative watch for products of our industry: classification, warehousing, exportation
* Manage and update the supplier and product database
* Synergies with the RA department in the Head Quarters
Requirements
* Degree in Chemistry
* Master's degree or extensive knowledge in gas and mass chromatography desirable. Other instrumental techniques will be considered
* Experience in the flavour and fragrance industry would be an asset.
* Contributions in organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, GC/FID, natural substances, chemical synthesis, analytical methods and legislation would be an asset.
* A high level of English is essential
* A flexible approach and a positive attitude
* Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality
