OverviewOur client is establishing a new engineering site in the Cádiz region and is seeking an experienced Office Lead / General Manager to lead and develop this location.Your main tasks and responsibilities will include :- Establishing and managing an engineering site in the Cádiz region.- Actively integrating the site and team into the wider group and, in particular, the engineering organization.- Responsibility for business planning, business results, and reporting, including monthly and annual profit and loss statements, to achieve company goals.- Building, disciplining, and developing the local team, including coordinated project and personnel planning. (You will be supported by a tech team lead with many years of experience in the company’s products, who will provide technical guidance and leadership to the team.)- Development of local growth strategies in cooperation with the parent company.- Establishment of a regional network for the acquisition of new customers, orders, and funding opportunities.Requirements- Skills to build an organization from scratch, manage its operations, and develop it.- Motivation to apply these skills for our client’s organization in the Cádiz region.- Degree in business or engineering with at least five years of management experience.- Spanish nationality, or at least 10 years of residence in Spain- Fluent in Spanish and English.- High level of commitment, leadership skills, reliability, and excellent communication skills.- A nautical background is not a prerequisite, but would be an advantage.- Professional experience in the Spanish shipyard or marine environment is not a prerequisite, but would be an advantage.- Knowledge of German would be an advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
