Key Job Responsibilities
* Lead annual business and go‑to‑market planning for the Startup business segment, including developing cross‑functional engagement mechanisms for planning and execution with a deep focus on sales strategy to respond to local customer needs.
* Engage with customers to educate, accelerate and grow their use of the AWS cloud to support their business outcomes.
* Drive business growth, meeting or exceeding revenue targets, opportunity creation and progression, acquisition and growth goals.
* Develop and mature mechanisms to deeply understand local Startup customer needs, gaps, and opportunities.
* Build a culture of sales excellence, including skills in coaching and developing high‑performance sales teams and exemplifying Amazon's Leadership Principles.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in technology related sales, business development or equivalent.
* Experience with direct field experience selling software or cloud solutions.
* Experience in people/sales management.
* Experience in a start‑up or technology company.
Preferred Qualifications
* A strong network in Start‑up Communities in UKI, with the ability to leverage relationships to expand AWS' footprint in this customer base.
* Executive experience at a venture‑backed Start‑up.
