Role description
The Payments Agent supports daily payment operations, assisting with billing tasks, refund processing, and issue resolution in a collaborative team environment. This role aids automotive financing and rental activities at REVEL by ensuring accurate payment handling and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
* Billing Process Monitoring: Track end-to-end billing workflows to identify delays or errors.
* Invoice Creation and Issuance: Generate and distribute accurate invoices using Stripe or similar ERP systems.
* Refund Management: Process customer refunds in compliance with EU consumer protection laws.
* Billing Adjustments: Review and apply corrections for pricing errors or contract changes.
* Application of Discounts and Compensations: Validate and implement promotional discounts or goodwill credits.
* Resolution of Payment-Related Issues: Investigate and resolve disputes, chargebacks, and payment failures.
* Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure adherence to GDPR, AML/KYC standards, and local fiscal requirements.
* Dispute Resolution: Handle customer payment queries and escalations professionally.
Role requirements
* Proven experience in payments processing or back-office finance (2+ years preferred).
* Proficiency in payment gateways (e.g., Stripe), and Excel/Google Sheets for reconciliations.
* Knowledge of Spanish/Italian billing regulations and automotive financing. (preferred)
* Fluency in Spanish and Italian (native level).
* Detail-oriented with ability to handle high-volume transactions.
