Procurement Category Manager – Wind TCI
Envision, a global green technology group, seeks a Procurement Category Manager for Wind TCI and Construction. The role involves strategic procurement on international projects, managing subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring cost‑effective and timely supply‑chain operations across the European region.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop sound, cost‑effective category strategies for project procurement and strategic procurement, ensuring timely delivery of procurement budgets.
* Coordinate with internal departments (sales, project management) and external stakeholders during the procurement phase.
* Guarantee the quality and accuracy of the procurement scope and identify, assess, and quantify potential subcontractors and suppliers.
* Facilitate accurate handover to project execution team for management of procured scope.
* Deploy Envision ERP tools (Ariba SAP) and support the P2P process.
Sales Support
* Develop relationships with suppliers and contractors in Envision sales markets.
* Facilitate contract or consortium agreement negotiations and scope clarifications.
* Collaborate with the technical team to create standard interface documents for contracts.
Supplier Development
* Continuously develop and maintain supplier relationships, identifying best local market opportunities.
* Ensure contracts and terms are favourable and fit for purpose with support from the legal department.
* Conduct supplier reviews upon contract completion.
Market Analysis
* Monitor and communicate supplier market conditions with management.
* Conduct cost analyses and set benchmarks for improvement.
* Develop risk‑management procedures to mitigate losses due to market changes.
* Work closely with the legal department to ensure favourable contracts and terms.
Project Procurement
* Prepare procurement management plans as required.
* Ensure accuracy of tender documentation and tenders.
* Conduct reviews and prepare analysis for awarding decisions.
* Act as escalation point during project execution when required.
Qualification and Expertise
* Degree in a relevant engineering or commerce qualification.
* Minimum 5 years of procurement and project management experience, preferably in TCI category and renewable energy construction.
* Knowledge of project management methods, commercial management, and supply management.
* Experience in procurement of EPC/BOP/Logistics in the renewable industry preferred.
* Excellent IT skills, including MS Office/SharePoint and SAP Ariba. xpzdshu
