CentOnze welcomes its guests right off the world famous Las Ramblas boulevard and into its chic, light and modern interior for a dining experience that is both refined and affordable. The emphasis of the kitchen is to create modern Catalan and Mediterranean dishes with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients bought from the La Boqueria market. In fact the name CentOnze, meaning 111, is derived from the fact that the restaurant is one hundred and eleven steps away fromthe world famous food bazaar. There are many delicious offerings on their new menu, starting with the à la carte that includes both tapas and plates, such as homemade chicken croquettes and patatas bravas, and mains like fish’n’chips with homemade lime mayonnaise, barbecued pulled pork served with coleslaw or lamb fillet served with potato millefeuille and peach chutney.
For the indecisive, there’s a well-priced menu that features prawn pad thai with dashi broth, paccheri with a meat ragú sauce, and ends with a large selection of homemade sweets, such as zen chocolate and hazelnut mousse with caramel mango ice cream, and assorted mini desserts.
