Senior Analyst – Project & Plant Controlling Location: Sant Boi, Barcelona
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive financial analysis and monitoring for projects and plant operations.
Develop and maintain accurate project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.
Analyze project and plant performance, identifying improvement areas and cost‑saving opportunities.
Partner with project managers, tendering team and plant leadership to provide financial guidance and actionable insights.
Conduct variance analysis and explain deviations from budgets and forecasts.
Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management.
Lead financial planning and support strategic decision‑making processes.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and key internal controls.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial management systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross‑functional team environment.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
8 to 9 years of proven experience in Project Controlling, Plant Cost Control, or similar roles.
Oracle ERP knowledge; professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) are a plus.
Professional fluency in English.
