We are currently seeking a Senior Cost Control Engineer to join our team based in Barcelona, Spain.
About the job:
1. Sets up Cost Control Procedures
2. Sets up Budgets and the specific tool to follow the project costs
3. Estimates Total Forecasts, Quantity / Costs and Expected Outcomes (CAPEX follow-up)
4. Provides support to the Risk Manager to prepare the Quantitative Risk Analysis
5. Approves commitment control and vendor / subcontractors invoice
6. Assists Project Managers in optimizing and improving the budgeted profits
7. Prepares change orders / claims, and follows up
8. Generates monthly internal Project Management Review (PMR) / external status reports (client reports)
9. Develops cash flows on a monthly basis
10. Develops statistical and close-out reports, with a view towards improving feedback data and estimation tools on future contracts / proposals
11. Complies with and implements both company and client HSE Management System objectives and procedures, as well as Quality standards and policies, and other applicable company procedures
Requirements:
1. Degree in Engineering
2. Previous experience of minimum 6 years in Cost. Experience in the O&G sector. Experience in CAPEX monitoring.
3. Interest in learning about the area.
4. Fluent in English and Spanish (minimum B2). Fluent in French will be a plus.
5. Good knowledge of other Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
