Expert Engineer – Power Plant Technology
The Expert Engineer in Power plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing Power Generation Projects for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Development and supervision of hydraulic calculations, heat and material balance, utilities summaries and calculations.
* Prepare the respective reports and documentation.
* Support other disciplines.
* Prepare P&IDs / line list.
Qualifications and Desired Attributes
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience: 10-15 years of experience in FEED and EPC.
* General Skills: Strong knowledge of engineering calculations in Combined Cycle / Coal Fired / Gas Fired boiler Projects.
* Technical Proficiency: High expertise in hydraulic calculation, process simulation, equipment design, instrumentation and valves specification, and client comment management.
* Technical Skills:
o Hydraulic calculations
o KKS for line designation
o Control valves calculations
o Control Narrative & C&E matrix process development
o Equipment design
o Instrumentation specification
o Heat and Material balance development (ThermoFlow desirable)
o Surge analysis (water hammer) using AFT Impulse or equivalent
o Utilities Summary
