We're looking for talented technical professionals to join our teams on permanent contracts.Responsibilities As Beam Physics Service Engineer, you are responsible for beam calibration, commissioning and troubleshooting activities on the Proton Therapy site. Operating the system and providing technical support to the medical staff during patient treatment and clinical operationsEnsuring the client requirements are met in terms of technical performance, timing and safetyTraining customersCarrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment (shift work)A Master degree or PhD in Physics or engineeringExperience in High Energy Physics, Particle Accelerators or Medical Physics is a strong assetGood knowledge of MS Excel, Python and data acquisition scriptingStrong written and verbal communication skills in English. Spanish is an asset.Other technical experiences will be an asset: electro‐mechanical system, cooling systems, vacuum systems, PLC regulation loops, Programmable Logic Controller, drivers, sensors, electric motors, positioning equipment, high and low voltage equipment.Personal QualitiesConscientious and organized, able to provide good quality reportingA team player with strong interpersonal skillsWilling to travel extensively during the training period (± 4 months)A flexible person, willing to work in rotating shift work, night work and weekends (up to 50% of your time)A permanent contract in an international company.The opportunity to contribute to a unique and cutting‐edge project in the fight against cancer.
