What you’ll do
Based in Alicante Airport, the HR Manager is responsible for leading the organisation’s people strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a positive, high-performance culture. This role oversees all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
The HR Manager is key to shaping the company culture and ensuring compliance with labor regulations whilst supporting our business objectives.
The Accountabilities of the Role:
* Work with the UK People Team to support with implementing the organisation’s HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on people-related matters and an escalation point for the Spain HR team to support with complex cases.
* Lead and mentor the HR team, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
* Contribute to decision-making through workforce insights and data.
* Oversee recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
* Foster a positive organisational culture aligned with company values.
* Support managers in building inclusive and high-performing teams.
* Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with employment law and regulations.
* Oversee payroll, benefits, and HR systems.
* Responsible for actioning the equality plan
* Ensure employment relations cases are managed and dealt with in a timely manner and clear advice is provided to relevant stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
* Lead organisational change initiatives
* Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and ensure actions from the equality plan are put in place.
The Requirements of the Role:
* Need to have graduated in Human Resources (or have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role)
* HR leadership experience
* Experience managing complex employee relations cases and organisational change
* Payroll experience essential
* Good command of spoken and written English is essential (Minimum of B2 in English language)
* Experience working in fast faced environments
* Highly driven and can be flexible to deliver the needs of the business.
* Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
* Highly developed planning and organisation skills.
