We are looking for a Specialist System Administrator Linux for the Hosting Technology team.
Key responsibilities
Platform Management: Build, maintain, and optimize large-scale Linux platforms and Ceph storage clusters.
Continuity & Support: Provide Level 3 support, working closely with Level 2 teams and participating in on-call rotations (approx. 1 week every 6) after an initial adaptation period.
Knowledge Transfer: Collaborate with colleagues in Cologne (Germany) to absorb institutional knowledge of legacy systems and document critical processes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify performance bottlenecks and propose/implement proactive improvements to the existing architecture.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years in Linux systems administration, with at least 1-2 years in team leadership or technical management roles.
Strong command of configuration management tools (Puppet, Saltstack) and orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform).
Advanced proficiency in BASH and Python.
Hands‐on experience with OpenStack.
Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
